Giant Spider Hunting Wasp Paralyses Its Prey // CRAZY WILDLIFE
A king baboon spider struggles as it becomes paralysed by the venom of a spider wasp. Environmentalist Gareth Legg, 43, captured the incredibly rare footage of a huge metallic blue spider hunting wasp paralysing its prey, before dragging it off to prepare it for laying an egg, at the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Gareth was out guiding clients on a safari when the group came across the incredibly rare sighting of the giant spider hunting wasp in full action. He immediately began recording as the four-centimetre wasp stung and paralysed the king baboon spider, patiently waiting for its prey to become incapacitated before dragging it off to lay its egg.
