Have you ever been confused by how certain singers achieve a specific style? What's the difference between "opera singing", "mixing," and "belting"? And how can we control our voice to change styles at will? In today's video I illustrate the concept of "tone placement". A way to control the voice without trying to directly manipulate movements in the larynx. Instead, we tap into the parts of the brain that DO control the voice and move our vocal structures and use that instead.
