Barrence Eugene Carter, better known as Barry White (Galveston, September 12, 1944 - Los Angeles, July 4, 2003) was a singer, composer, conductor and American music producer. Composer of numerous hits in style soul and disco and ballads, and an interpreter with deep, gravelly voice.
He had great success as a performer of romantic ballads in the 60s in 1972 created the female trio Love Unlimited. Subsequently took this name to baptize its monitoring group, the Love Unlimited Orchestra.
It was considered one of the disco 'music precursors with the release in 1974 of the hits Can not Get Enough of Your Love, Babe, You're the first, the last, my everything and the instrumental theme (the Love Unlimited Orchestra) Love's Theme. In 1975 came the What I'm with you gonna. In 1976, Let the music play. In 1979, his Love Unlimited Orchestra launches hit I'm just glad que I'ma woman. In the early 80s, he was in Brazil, and, before the tour, launched Rio de Janeiro.
