During my Jefferson presentations for middle and upper-elementary students, I use 18th century toys as metaphors to help explain Jeffersonian concepts while making the lessons fun for the audience.

I normally bring student volunteers onto the stage to help me with these demonstrations, but pandemic circumstances necessitate distancing precautions for in-person shows when the event is not on Zoom.

This event was performed on Zoom, using a computer that was placed beneath the camera used to record the performance. Privacy precautions for the students meant that the actual Zoom footage could not be recorded, which explains why I keep looking just below the camera used to record this footage instead of directly at it.
