For those who may not be huge baseball fans, the Braves actually got started in Boston, with WHDH being their first flagship from 1946-1949. The next season, games were moved to WNAC. When the team relocated to Milwaukee in 1953, WTMJ was the team’s flagship during the entirety of their tenure in Wisconsin.

When the Braves moved to Atlanta in 1966, WSB served as the 50,000 watt flagship for the team. In 1992, games moved to WGST (with WPCH airing night games), then moved back to WSB in 1995, just in time for the team to win their first championship in Atlanta. Games were moved back to WGST in 2005, then to WCNN in 2010. The team has also had a few FM flagships, mostly for night game coverage, including WGST-FM from 1993-1995, WKLS from 2005-2006 and 2009, WUBL from 2007-2008, the current WNNX from 2010-2013, WYAY from 2014-2019, then back to WNNX from 2019 until 2022.

The Braves have the largest team broadcast network in the U.S., spanning 171 affiliates across 10 states.
