In this video, I'll be doing more competitive Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Regulation D VGC double battles featuring Murkrow and Gholdengo! While Murkrow has completely fallen off in usage, and for good reason too, it still has one advantage that Tornadus doesn't have, and that is priority Haze! With this, you can get rid of any stat increase your opponent gives themselves from Shelter, Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, and more, but more importantly for Gholdengo, you can get rid of your stat decreases too! Since Gholdengo drops in SpA every time it uses Make It Rain and ours is Choice Speced, it is nice to have a way to erase those stat decreases since we don't have access to Nasty Plot with the Specs! With the team of Vaporeon, Baxcalibur, Rillaboom, and Ceruledge, Murkrow and Gholdengo are still a good pair in Regulation D!
