In 1717, Augustus II, King of Prussia, exchanged 600 of his fully armoured dragoons, the elite regiment that once fought and won wars for him, for 151 porcelain pieces from the Kangxi Era. Despite not being antiques, during that time, each piece of china was still worth four warriors. It was truly white gold.
