[FROM HERE ON CONTAINS SPOILERS OF CD ARC 1] In the Crimson Dawn universe, this remained the same, though it could also be interpreted to celebrate the life and military service of Katyusha Mayakova, a famous Spetsnaz soldier who tragically died in the final battle of the 2nd Russian Civil War. She was also the lover of Rik Latyeskov, whom after the war became the Premier of the New USSR. In keeping with his loyalty to her, Latyeskov never sought another lover, and he also fulfilled a promise that she asked of before her dying breath; to protect the New USSR as if Latyeskov was protecting Katyusha herself. This song is also used by the Artillery Forces of the New USSR. Featured is their Flag: [ Ссылка ]
