President Donald Trump's press secretary Sean Spicer stated at Tuesday's White House news briefing that Adolf Hitler “didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons," while comparing Hitler to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad.
Later in the briefing, Spicer attempted to clarify the statement, citing differences in the uses of chemical weapons.
