Giant Hogweed is an invasive flower that is found in some 13 states in the United States, especially along rivers and streams. Not to be confused with Queen Ann's Lace, this flower can tower up to 15 feet. Its sheer size and beauty make it quite attractive when out in nature. The danger is in its toxic sap which, when comes in contact with skin can result in potential 3rd degree burns and or blindness if exposed to the eyes. It is a dangerous beauty and one to be aware of while enjoying the outdoors.
