In this video, we clench the first section opened of I-355, opened in 1989. The Veterans Memorial Tollway (formerly North-South, until 2007) features the most modern of Illinois Tollway infrastructure design, including full-diamond interchanges and lack of oases. We'll be taking the tour from it's northern terminus at I-290 to its former southern terminus at I-55, going from flyover to flyover.
