Seattle (2023) is an impressive and beautifully located city in the northwest of the United States of America (USA) at the Canadian border neighboring Vancouver. Seattle is situated on an isthmus between Lake Washington and Puget Sound. The city of Olympia however is the capital of the state of Washington. Seattle has approximately 750,000 citizens within its city borders. Outside the city borders in its metropolitan area, Seattle has approximately 4 million inhabitants. For one decade between 2010 and 2020 it was the fastest growing metropolis of the United States.
