So Charles Ingram was an ex british army major and a contestant on the most popular game show ever, who wants to be a millionaire! Charles was struggling with the questions and it was clear that he wasn't smart enough to win, by the 7th question, he had used 2 of his 3 lifelines. The next day when the episode continued, something changed. Charles was very nervous and would read the questions slowly and then another contestant called Tecwen Wittock would cough when hearing the right answer, as a signal for Charles. His wife would cough too and help them cheat. Chris Tarrant, the show's presenter, was 100% sure that Charles was cheating by they let him go in to gather all the evidence required for proof. They let him win the 1 million dollars or pounds in this case but they did not let him cash it, instead, he received a jail sentence and a fine. Tecwen Wittock was found guilty too.
