Enjoy this amazing Mango Peach Pie. Or you can use other fruit with the Mango. The original recipe is from The Artful Pie and calls for fresh Pineapple. I made it more to my liking with Mango and Peaches.
Recipe Ingredients:
one double pie shell. My fave pie recipe is here
4 ripe Mango's 2 ripe Peaches or 5- 6 Mango's
Original recipe calls for one fresh Pineapple cut into chunks and 2 large Mango's
3 Tablespoons Lime juice
3/4 cup sugar
6 Tablespoons all purpose flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 pinches cayenne pepper
egg wash
1 large egg yolk
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Follow the instructions in the video. Thanks and enjoy the best pie you will ever taste.
Bake the pie in a 10 inch pie shell in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. Then turn down the oven to 350 degrees and bake another 30 minutes or until browned and the bottom crust is done. Could take longer than 1/2 hour.
