2D Cell Coating with VitroGel® Hydrogel System. VitroGel can be used to coat the substance that cells grow on. The different stiffness and texture of the substance might lead to different cell behaviors. Also, as time goes on, cells might move into the hydrogel matrix for invasion/migration study.

VitroGel has been successfully used on different projects with many cell lines such as human and mouse pancreatic beta cells, lymphocytes, Hela cells, hFS iPSCs, breast cancer cell lines and much more. The results show that cells can successfully grow in both 3D culture and 2D coating. Media can easily penetrate the hydrogel matrix and provide nutrition for long-term cell culture. The growth of cells can be observed easily under microscopy.
