The PPDA has warned accounting officers that it’s soon deploying a new concept called open contracting, the concept according to Benson Turamye the chief executive officer, PPDA will help deal with old age challenges such as lack of transparency and gaps in monitoring, and focus on ensuring value for money, quality governance and taming corruption at local government level.
