The Butterfly Knot! One of the most versatile knots used in rope access (IRATA, SPRAT)
We have already learned the Figure of Eight on a Bight, a Barrelknot and the Retraced Figure of Eight. But what if you need to tie a knot in the middle of the rope? Then we use a Butterfly Knot. Also know as the Alpine Butterfly.
