STORYLINE:
More than two hundred people gathered in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir on Saturday to stage an anti-India rally ahead of Kashmir Day on Sunday.
Protesters were angry at the recent improvement in diplomatic relations between Pakistan and India, which controls a large part of the disputed region of Kashmir.
"All Kashmiri brothers are gather here to show solidarity. It shows the solidarity with our oppressed Kashmiri brothers and sisters in Jammu and Kashmir state," said rally organiser and head of Jamaat-ud-Dawa in Pakistan controlled Kashmir, Abdul Aziz Alvi.
Jamaat-ud-Dawa is widely considered to be the front group for Lashkar-e-Taiba, a militant organisation that was started with help from the Pakistani government to fight archenemy India, but has been officially banned under international pressure.
Lashkar-e-Taiba is blamed for the 2008 attacks in Mumbai that killed 166 people.
India has demanded Pakistan crack down on the group, but Islamabad has shown little willingness to go after Lashkar-e-Taiba or Jamaat-ud-Dawa.
"We condemn the government of Pakistan's policy and thinking, which declared India a favourite country," said Aziz Alvi.
"A true Pakistani who loves with country can't declare India a favourite country," he added.
Around him, demonstrators chanted "a friend of India is a traitor" and "our war will continue until it destroys India".
Jamaat-ud-Dawa has often polarised opinion in Pakistan.
In June 2007, a Jamaat-ud-Dawa hospital and offices were attacked and burned down in the city of Muzaffarabad.
However, the organisation has also been praised by many people in Pakistan for providing health care and humanitarian assistance for those in need.
Kashmir Day on February 5 is a public holiday across Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir, held in support of what protesters say is a struggle for freedom by those living in Indian-administered Kashmir.
