To have autohold function triggered again, Hikoki needs to be disconnected from the input or the input value needs to change to another range. Otherwise nothing happens except the bargraph movement. Fluke autohold is differently implemented and I prefer it. This is valid through all modes, not only in resistance. Hikoki manual says: "when the test leads are moved away from the measurement object, reconnected again, and the measured value stabilizes, a beeping sound is generated and the new measured value is retained".
