Being a global citizen involves recognizing the importance of understanding and appreciating different cultures and viewpoints, and actively engaging in efforts to create a more equitable and sustainable world.
In her address, Gehana Nag draws parallels between a jalebi and ourselves to highlight the interconnectedness of the world and the importance of recognizing our place in it. Just as a jalebi is made up of many interconnected loops and spirals, our lives are interconnected with those of people from all around the world.
