The bulk of the difficulty of this run is condensed into the earlygame, because of how few resources you can get by then (i.e. no extra lives until after s2). Once you get past s2, the game starts giving a lot of extends; the majority of my failed attempts were s2 gameovers lmao. Anyway, I had enough lives by the end of this to basically tank Fumikado, and I also got absolutely butchered by Shion's third spell. Lots of dumb deaths in this run overall; especially when I got hit by those isolated bullets on that s2 stage portion and on Fumikado's penultimate spell.
Oh, the other major problem with using Kuroji is how prone they are to getting multikilled on particularly bad sections. The drop from 5p to 4p is utterly insane with this shot type, and some areas (especially the latter halves of stages 3 and 5) become really difficult with low power. For example, if I had gotten killed twice on Fumikado's final nonspell (which can sometimes give utterly insane rice RNG), I would have had to do the entire penultimate with at most 4p, which turns that spell from a nap into a nightmare. The s3 Iyozane midboss is also another case where multideaths are extremely possible.
Thanks to Oscar for finding the Iyozane final spell safespot. The run would have been a lot less manageable without it. Oh and lol at the typo on the replay name -- The only other replay I had saved on this game was a unnnfs of the final boss, so I managed to get myself to accidentally type "fs" instead of "fb" on this replay name. Lots of dumb mistakes in this run, and in the naming of it!
