Man am I on to another one this month - to be precise, a Japanese import [this time, which I actually own]! What does it entail, one might ask?
By now, everyone remembers my Mystical Ninja review from over a year ago (Season 2), right? What I'm touching on here is a direct follow-up to that particular title, amongst many (not counting the N64 installments or the sole Game Boy entry) - WHICH NEVER SAW THE LIGHT OF DAY UNIVERSALLY (aka in the US and/or Europe).
Picking up right where the previous game left off, Goemon (Kid Ying) & Ebisumaru (Dr. Yang) are out and about once again to set things right in Edo after a well-deserved [yet fake] Okinawa vacation set up by a weird foreign general...this time with 3 new companions, Clockwork Robot Ninja Sasuke, GOEMON IMPACT (hence the 2 new additional gameplay features - an auto-scrolling "trample-and-whack-a-thon" and a first-person boss duel akin to Battle Clash & Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge, concerning the penultimate), and Yae (despite being unplayable)!
Not only have McGuinness Castella, the aforementioned weird foreign [American] general, taken most of Edo hostage (specifically Princess Yuki - YET AGAIN - this time with the Lord of Edo & Omitsu, later)...he and his retarded "Bunny Henchmen" fully intend to Westernize most of Edo!! But in Team Goemon's eyes, they know there's NO WAY IN HELL THEY'LL LET THAT HAPPEN.
Premise aside, translations are provided in-video for everyone's convenience.
