The Dongdaemun Design Plaza is one of the most magnificent pieces of architecture in South Korea and on many “best-of” lists when it comes to architecture. In fact, DDP (as it is affectionately known by locals) is one of the reasons why Seoul was designated the World Design Capital in 2010. Look at this building designed by architect Zaha Hadid from all angles — you won’t see a single straight line!
