I can't believe I was able to squeeze all of this into a minute video! It's a simple project but I just want to show all the little details.
*This series of videos was inspired by a video from Farmhouse on Boone where Lisa made a slipcover for a chair out of bleached drop cloth:

Also, I'm no sewing expert. I learned some things from my mom and took a couple classes in college but mostly I just figure things out as I go. Let me show you what I learn as I stumble through various projects :)
Fair warning - I cut a lot of corners to make my projects faster. But I'll always try to show you what I'm doing.
Also, also, I'll be putting up a longer form video for this soon so you can watch it a little less rushed, cause this one's a whirlwind!
Check out my blog for more crafts, recipes, and tips for a happy home :)

Materials I'm using:
Drop Cloth- It's %100 cotton and I'll show you how I bleached it in a future video.

Here's the sewing machine I'm using in the video. My old machine sadly died after 12 years and this was what I could get my hands on. It's not the greatest but it gets the job done.

Upholstery Thread- I found that regular thread rips too easily when I take cushion covers on and off so I switched to upholstery thread. You don't need to use this if you're making these strips for a quilt or pillowcase.
