Here's how to roll stuffed grape leaves so that the tips of the leaf don't hang out, the roll is tight but not too tight, and it holds together while cooking (place the leave-tip side down in the pan). Use only about two teaspoons of filling per leaf.
Grape Leaves filling recipe:
1 pound ground beef or lamb
1 cup long grain white rice
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
About 1/2 cup water to loosen the mixture
