This leopard thought it could make a snack out of a porcupine but got humbled real quick when it got quilled. Usually, quills embed so quickly that most people believe porcupines can shoot quills out of their back, but that's not actually what happens. You see, when threatened, porcupines raise and loosen their quills. If a predator comes in contact and a quill is pushed inside, it easily pops out. Now, because quills have these microscopic backward-facing barbs, even the slightest touch can embed them deep. If you try to pull them out forcibly, it just makes things worse.
