Your 6 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Oct. 6, 2022: A cold front is marching southward into the Ohio River valley with the intent of dragging a deep trough even farther south into the Tennessee River Valley. So what does that mean for us?
We are expecting overnight rain with lingering lake effect showers possible through the day Friday. High temperatures will struggle to make it into the mid 50s with most areas remain subpar with upper 40s to low 50s lingering for about 24 to 36 hours. We are likely to have frost and perhaps freeze advisories published for some areas through the weekend. However, conditions will rebound day by day through the middle of next week.
