This video describes the most important part about inspecting a subpanel. That is that the grounds and neutrals need to be separated. In order for this too happen the wire feeding the subpanel needs to have 2 hots, a neutral, and a ground wire. If your panel has a green bonding screw in it, this needs to be removed. You want to make sure your circuits aren't overfused, wires are phased correctly, and nothing is doubled tapped to name a few.
