Micellar casein is the first ingredient, followed by natural and artificial flavors and colors, polydextrose, a blend of three kinds of gum, soy lecithin, salt, the artificial sweeteners sucralose and acesulfame potassium, and finally digestive enzymes.

There are a few things to point out here: not every casein protein powder has casein as the first ingredient. Oftentimes it's milk protein isolate, which is cheaper. To be fair, milk protein isolate is 80 percent casein, but it's nice to see that Optimum Nutrition uses straight casein.
Another bonus is that the product contains Aminogen, a blend of enzymes that a 2008 study in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition found may increase the absorption of protein. It may also lower the odds of digestive issues.
