Whenever I get a new shelter system, I like to practice setting it up for the first time in a controlled situation. The last thing I want to do is bring it out into the back country where I am miles aways from home to find out there is a problem with my setup. Whether it is a manufacturing defect, or just a piece of gear that I can use to make my setup a little easier, learning in a controlled setting is very important to me!


In this video we take a look at the Crua Koala Full Set, which is a feature rich hammock and tarp system. I discuss the overall features and figure out what it will take for me to be ready to take this system out on the trails!
