It looks like we might get to see Sherlock Holmes 3 after all. Both Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are committed to making a third film and now Warner Bros has a script. Currently RDJ is getting ready to promote Iron Man 3 due out Spring 2013 and Jude Law is promoting Anna Karenina.
