Real Estate listings in the King Mountain Neighborhood: [ Ссылка ]
The King Mountain Neighborhood is located in Northern Bellingham in between the Meridian and Irongate Neighborhoods. The neighborhood contains only public and residential areas, with a large percentage of the land being vacant. The main thoroughfares are E Bakerview Rd, James St Rd, and E Kellogg Rd.
Annexed in 2009, the neighborhood contains about 1,000 acres positioned between the biggest industrial and biggest commercial neighborhoods in Bellingham. The neighborhood is primarily residential, having both medium density areas, as well as very-low-density areas which are comprised of very large lots. The most notable feature of the neighborhood is King Mountain, which provides some of its residents' panoramic views of the greater Bellingham area. Children in the neighborhood may attend Cordata or Parkview Elementary School, and later Shuksan Middle School and Squalicum High School.
The neighborhood contains various open public spaces as well, containing Baker Creek, Silver Creek, tributaries of Squalicum Creek, and all the associated wetlands. Many of the open spaces in the neighborhood do not have developed trails or access point yet, although that is likely to change in the future.
Overall, King Mountain is a quiet secluded neighborhood that still has easy access to the largest commercial center in Bellingham. While relatively few residents live here now, the King Mountain neighborhood will likely be the destination for many families moving to Bellingham in the future.
