To show the importance of wearing Flame Resistant (FR) workwear, we are showing a side-by-side Flash Fire comparison of a typical 65/35 blended work shirt and 100% cotton pant pairing vs a GlenGuard 5.3oz shirt combined with a GlenGuard 6.4oz pant.
This test is performed to the ASTM F1930 standard. Both ensembles are subjected to a 3-second exposure to flame. This video clearly demonstrates to anyone who still believes it is acceptable to place workers that may be exposed to flash fire in Non-FR garments, just how fatal that decision can be to the wearer.
