Latin maestro Cato Anaya is dropping his Latin-inspired hit ‘Guantanamera’ this
Friday, as he brings a South American flavour to the new groove anthem, which is
sure to prove a massive floor-filler this summer.
Responsible for percussive
perfection such as Kryder collaboration ‘La Cumbiambera’, the Colombian has
once again struck gold on the release, which showcases tribal chord patterns
and a sweet rhythmic hook.
Best known for becoming the first artist of this genre to be signed to Sony, Cato
has since enjoyed a meteoric rise, performing at various events, including ADE
(Amsterdam Dance Event) and amassing a truly global fanbase on account of
his powerful production prowess and unique signature sound.
Now moving up
through the hierarchy of Cartel, Cato has been responsible for heading up the
rebirth of the label, with fans and listeners quick to praise the high standard of
production calibre found on the imprint, which has garnered a reputation for
toe-tapping dance-induced beats of the most supreme level.
