Raising Coturnix Quails as BEGINNERS (A GIANT Leap to Self Sufficiency) | Guten Yardening

We are so excited to end the year off with an amazing new adventure in self-sufficiency. We have just purchased Coturnix Quails from Myshire Farm, and this means that we can now produce some of our own meat and eggs, which is something we have never done before.

These are Coturnix Quail teens, and that means it will only be a few weeks before we are ready to start harvesting eggs as we start quail farming.

We are still awaiting our cage from Wynola Ranch, but even with the setup we currently have, we believe that keeping quails in the garage is going to work out well, and we are excited to share the knowledge we learn as we begin raising quail for the first time.

In future videos we will detail the cost to raise quail, what is necessary to help them grow and develop properly, as well as many other topics about raising quail.
