A scarce Regina music box that features a 78 rpm record player in addition to the double comb disc movement.
The Regina company collaborated with Columbia Grafonola in the early 1900s to offer these dual-service machines as a way of fighting off the disruption of recorded music and song.
These did not last long, as the public became more and more attached to the newer technology of records, the music boxes of old were no longer in demand.
