Water is the most important resource for life on earth. But the world can be an unfair place. 844 million people on earth do not have direct access to water. People can face harsh conditions as they attempt to access it, especially women and children.
In TRT Belgesel’s new documentary Water Walk, Çağlar Demirkapı and Hakan Girginer set out to change those lives.
They visit remote villages to ensure that people there have access to sustainable water and, in doing so, change the course of their future.
This story gives us an opportunity to witness different cultures and a completely different world.Water Walk’s first stop is Niger, where we meet Fatma. Her story will make many people realise that what is ordinary to us may actually be a luxury to someone living on the other side of the planet.
