Decavitator weapons are a variation of the regular Splatana weapons. Your kid will always swing them horizontally, even with its charged attack. This gives it a wider melee range that usually instantly splats opponent up close.

This is based on a real life style of katana swordfighting called Iaijutsu, where attacks from the sword come from quickly drawing it out from its sheath, which is what Decavitator weapons have in this game.

It's so funny that Nintendo managed to make these into Splatoon weapons via dental products. Pick one up and smack some poor Woomy or Veemo out of their misery with a minty-fresh blade of justice!
