Even though this cake is called a coffee cake. You don't necessarily have to make it from coffee. It has the word coffee in it because you can pair it with coffee or tea. Having said that! I got creative and made me a super moist pineapple coffee cake with cherries and topped with coconut crumble or streusel topping. This is one of the best cakes to make at home.
