As part of my experiment to learn the various individual tobacco flavors I bought an ounce of Cornell and Diehls bulk red virginia ribbon to try and potentially make some blends with. This is just a quick review of the smoke, which was not nearly as pleasant as I thought it would be. Has a really good virginia flavor but really burns the throat and nostrils on the retohale. I'm hoping that cellaring this tobacco for a little while will mellow it out and get rid of some of the harshness.
