How to Use Clinical Supervision and Avoid Red Flags in the Process

Clinical supervision is essential to your growth as a new therapist. It’s a place for you to grow your clinical skills, build your resources for clients, and learn more about being a therapist. Supervision is required to get your license for a reason. It should provide you with support and a place to be open about feelings as an associate therapist.

However, not all supervision is great. In this video, I discuss what to look for in a clinical supervisor, what red flags to be aware of, and tips on how to make the most of your time in supervision. Make sure you are benefitting from supervision and are getting everything out of it you need!
