Greetings one and all! So, this is the final flying season for XH558 and The Spirit of Great Britain is still going strong. The Civil Aviation Authority (or CAA for short) have classed G-VLCN as a complex aircraft and Rolls Royce are therefore no longer supporting the aircraft's airworthiness certificate, grounding her for good.
In this video we see the mighty Vulcan flying in formation with The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows for the second to last time. Bill Ramsey was at the controls for the day, taking '558 though her paces at her last ever RIAT.
