There's a lot of switching between 5 and 6 in this song. I personally like how triplets feel over both times and think the two go well together. The tapping section was inspired by learning about tapping over chord shapes. I really enjoy being able to add a melodic line to a blooming, half-time feel chord section.
Again, this is the guitar I used to record the album. The main distorted sound is a combination of a Boger Harlow compressor into a Chase Bliss Brothers into a Fender Twin Reverb '65 re-issue. During the bridge section there is a synth track doubling the guitar line.
The EGC is a 30" scale baritone loaded with their humbuckers. I'm not sure if they are the Scott Kelly signature pickups or just normal EGC ones, but they run pretty hot.
