Tomasz Procko, 22, and his colleague Karol Szymanski, 29, both from Poland, were killed yesterday morning when the railings at the £7million flat gave way as they tried to move a sofa and they fell 30ft. Six others were injured when the balcony came crashing to the ground outside the luxury apartment of Taher Helmy in Cadogan Square in Knightsbridge at about 10am on Friday. Mr Procko - pictured in the same square two months ago with Chelsea footballer Cesc Fabregas - had been employed by Martinisation Ltd, which claims to hire more than a hundred Polish people and had been cautioned by the HSE over problems with its building sites. In 2012 it was warned for failing to take 'all reasonably practicable steps to prevent danger to persons from the fall or dislodgement of material'.
