How long after you fertilize can you mow the lawn?

It is important to get this waiting period in so that you are not wasting your money on fertilizer. If you are using a liquid application, generally you want to wait 24 hours. If you are using a granular pellet application, you want to wait until those are properly watered in and have been given time to get absorbed into the lawn.
