In Nagamachi where is middle class samurais(tax revenue 400koku above) lived during the Edo period(1603-1868),In the mean time in Kanazawa was one of the largest castle samurai-town in feudal Japan when its population growing to maximum 15,000.
Nagamachi is a well-preserved neighborhood of samurai houses. Especialy in this samurai districts are earthen-wall,aqueducts and narrow alleis.
A whole new way to enjoy Kanazawa.
