An SIA Licence is a legal requirement in order to work in the security industry, for any of the following jobs, you must have a valid SIA Licence with you at all times.

SIA Door Supervisor Licence to Work as a Door Supervisor.
SIA CCTV Licence to work as a CCTV Operator.


SIA Security Guard Licence to work as a security officer,

however you can not work on a premise where Alcohol is being consumed, you will need the SIA Door Supervisor Licence to do that. This is the main difference between the Security Guard Licence and the Door Supervisor Licence.

SIA Close Protection licence to work as a Body Guard or Close Protection Officer.

How Much Does an SIA Licence cost?
It costs £190 to apply for the 1st licence. Each other licence will cost £95

How to Apply For your SIA Licence?
