My favourite Manics song if I had to pick one. But honestly I rarely play it on guitar myself, even though the main riff is the reason I started paying guitar. It might seem easy, but it took me many takes to get right.

Motorcycle Emptiness is actually one of the Manics earliest songs but only really took shape in the studio, when the producer Steve Brown insisted James come up with some main riff and at which point James thought 'what would Slash do?'
