In this session, we will highlight the impact that biases of healthcare professionals, whether conscious or unconscious, can have on families of colors. We will discuss the funnel effect that occurs as it relates to the impact that this can have on the OPOs ability to effectively support families, engage in donation discussions, and obtain authorization.
