If you are getting bored at home, you could try this simple chewy glutinous rice cake, AKA Mochi, with a microwave. You could heat the milk in the microwave. The original flavor only needs 3 essential ingredients: sweet rice flour, milk, and sugar. There will involve some other ingredients as you following the video, but they are OPTIONAL. You could substitute milk with water or other beverage of your choice.
I make one small rice cake with just a bit of vanilla extract and salt, while the other one with matcha powder. Put together, it looks great! Also, you could also make mochi cookies, here is our recipe video if you are interested: [ Ссылка ]
BTW, to make it chewier, you could beat it or pound at it with a mortar, which is quite an exercise for your arm. Go get yourself a helper! =)
